Take a look at this weeks set of reprinted t-shirt from Threadless. “Rayguns” by Simon Noynay, “Motovino” by Matthew Flemming, “I Like Trees Too” by Gregory Durrell get the go-ahead to go-again in Threadless shop, as do “Ah Munna Eat Choo” by Nathaniel Kusinitz and “JC Was A Streaker” by Pascal Hoavek.

Also, Threadless announced earlier this week the addition of PayPal to their ordering system. They’re offering a coupon code to celebrate!:

“GRRRR!!”

I’ll cut to the chase: I think “Know Your Dinosaurs” from Threadless artist Sarah Sobole is on track to being THE best dinosaur themed t-shirt of 2010. You heard it here first!

It’s like a page out of a children’s book gone wrong.

As you scan the tee, with its adorable, soft illustrations, you go, “aww! cute!”. But then T-Rex comes in and is all, “GRRRR!!” and starts attacking brachiosaurus. So cool.

Sobole’s winning design is a perfect blend of fun and ferocious. I love it.

Five New Threadless Tee’s: Zombie at Tiffany’s!

Woo hoo! Three new t-shirts from Threadless!

I once had a roomate who was absolutely obsessed with Audrey Hepburn as Holly in Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Two photos of her in our living room, a few more on the wall and on his desk in his bedroom. Sometimes I would come home late at night after work and he’d be sitting in the dark on his mid-century modern couch watching the movie. Crazy!

I understood the appeal though; it’s a great flick and Hepburn is just fantastic.

But Threadless artist Marion Cromb has taken the Holly Golightly that so many have loved and adored and gave her the straight up undead treatment. “Zombie at Tiffany’s” is an excellent re-imagining of a truly iconic image and this new shirt is one of my all time favorites from Threadless. I love the black and white color scheme, and Cromb does a great job with the zombie wounds and gore.

And as usual, Threadless continues to pump out more cool shirts. This week in addition to Marion’s zombie masterpiece, you can also get your hands on “The King” by Alex Solis, “The Ugly Duckling” by Vo Maria, “Birds of Prey” by Phil Jones, and “Book Jackets” from tenso GRAPHICS. Check ‘em out!

Happy Birthday! Threadless Turns 10!

I remember a long, long time ago a friend of mine was sending around an email to all of us. She wanted us to vote on a t-shirt design she had submitted to a website called Threadless. This must have been in the first two years or so of their existence, but it was the first time I had ever heard of them. Well, I loved their idea and have been a huge fan of theirs ever since. It’s hard to believe Threadless is now 10 years old! Happy Birthday, Threadless!

To celebrate this monumental occasion, they’ve got a bunch of fun tricks up their sleeves. For starters, check out their 10th Anniversary page, where you’ll find the “10th Anniversary Mega-Hunt”, a graphical scavenger hunt based on their first 10 years of being t-shirt crazy. It’s probably already over though, since I’m lazy and didn’t post about it until like 10 hours after I heard about it. Sorry! :/

They’re also going bonkers and selling all their t-shirts for only $10! Now’s your chance to pick up some of those shirts you’ve been eyeballing but were too frugal to pay full price for. $10 a shirt! Get crackin’!

Threadless: New Shirts for Thursday March 11th

Woops, a little late with this. Blame it on rum and a broken heart.

Here’s a look at the new Threadless shirts available starting yesterday. I like “Monkey Business” by Alex Solic. It’s almost like one of those fake tuxedo tshirts except BAM, you got a monkey on your chest! A little weird, since the monkey’s smoking a stogie and lookin’ all George Burns, but certainly the coolest of the bunch. It’s also available as a hoodie for all you hairless primates out there.

Another notable mention is “God Save the Villain!” by Enkel Dika. A pretty rad tribute to the Queen of England, the Joker from Batman: Dark Knight, and the Sex Pistols. Keen eyes might even see a bit of Banksy in there. Maybe. Ok I’m stretching it with that.
